VALPARAISO — Anyone looking for the fastest form of pain reliever should consult with Nicole Kaminsky, a freshman at Boone Grove High School. Nicole, who hopes to someday become a pharmacist, did a project on which type of acetaminophen — a soft gel, capsule, tablet or “rapid release” capsule — would digest most quickly. Her work was on display Saturday, along with that of 89 other middle and senior high school students in Porter, LaPorte and Starke counties, for the 57th annual Northwest Indiana Science and Engineering Fair.
